I was going back and reading some conservativetreehouse pieces I had missed, and I came across one titled "Why do foreign countries need lobbyists?  Isn't that what embassies and ambassadors are for?"

This picture says it all, IMHO.  This is why our president is waging a trade war with most of our trading "partners" - isn't it?

 Is this why so many lawmakers have decided to retire?  The Deep State's business as usual seems to have been disrupted.  No wonder both the Democrats and a whole lot of the Republicans hate the president.
