AD 70 – Titus ends the siege of Jerusalem after destroying Herod's Temple.

I think that events recorded back in those days likely got the year right but it seems unlikely that they would have been accurate and consistent enough to actually know that something happened on August 30th of today's calendar:

I'm sure that scholars assigned dates, including the day/month of the year for all this ancient stuff.
