Comey would indict Hillary, resulting in Bernie Sanders getting the nomination.

Do you think Trump would still take Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana ?

The bigger question is why we have so many citizens willing to try socialism. If it weren't their specific objective,  I'd say our schools have failed us miserably.   But,  they have obviously had a great deal of success.

I think that Sanders would have won and Biden could have won easily.

However, the powers that decided on Hillary being the next president underestimated how horrible THEIR candidate  was.  Being corrupt can be overcome if you have the likeable personality of somebody like Kennedy, Reagon, B.Clinton or Obama(not saying they were corrupt just commenting on their charisma)

Hillary just did not have the charisma to overcome her corruption.

2016 was the first election that so many people's votes were influenced by who they disliked.

Millions voted against their least favorite candidate(never Clinton, never Trump) or in the case of dem's did not vote at all.

Many  Trump votes were a vote against Clinton.........and Obama and politics in Washington.

Sanders had captured alot of the anti Washington sentiment and would have seen less Never Sanders voting.

Biden would have had the least Never Biden votes but certainly represented a more typical politician...........which might have been detrimental. His connection with Obama might have actually helped generate more dem votes, especially with blacks.  The anti Obama vote was already 100% on board with Trump.........regardless who was running against him.

Actually, Mike, I think that there were  a few more than that one. I was so upset with Jimmy Carter's governing by prayer, that I voted for Ronald Reagan.

That's sort of funny Carl because I came from a long line of democrats and was pretty liberal back then and looked at at Reagan as a fake..........actor playing president and Carter as an honest man that we could trust.

When I graduated from college, he had just put a 1 year  freeze on hiring any new federal employees, including those at the National Weather Service, which was where I had been intending to work after graduation as a meterologist.

I ended up in television and it all worked oout.
