June/July revised lower.  Earnings increase highest since 2009.


Equities not very impressed so far.

According to CNBC, the average hourly wage had an uptick.  Good news.  Market worried about possible inflation?  Good news = bad news?

Economics always speaks with 2 hands. i.e.  On one hand, blah blah blah,  but then on the other hand, blah blah blah.


The fed looks very closely at wage pressure when determining monetary policy.  The street is focusing on that,  I suspect.   I will not be surprised if, before days end, the street realizes this is net good.
