This stuff is hilarious MOJ.  Saying you're "nationalist" is terrible because it's the same thing leaders of oppressive regimes have said.

But, saying you're "socialist" is just fine.

And, the best part,  you probably don't get the humor.

Apparently you're not aware that being a nationalist has much more severe connotations than being a socialist. Well, now you know.

Actually,  socialism is responsible for far more death and destruction that nationalism.  So, now you know.

Can't ya just see MOJO as he types.  <Gasp> MUST-NOT-<Gasp>-ACCEPT-<Gasp>-HISTORICAL-FACT!!<Gasp>.  It's like his kryptonite.

The most murderous regimes of the last century adhered to your leftist ideology accounting for over 100 million deaths.  The folks made the socialists in NAZI Germany look like pikers with a mere 6 million or so deaths.

as I am watching the never ending bickering between the left and the right, I some times see qualified arguments.... and at other times pure nonsense.

This week, I read about Trump using the "N-word" (referring to "nationalism"), as one member of the MSM called it

lol.... OMG.... what a terrible word!!!!!!.....can't even spell it out in public

In the original post of this thread, it compared Trump with other people who were nationalists (all of them dictators).... I can only quote our friend mojo, who would have said "what a steaming pile of you know what"

first...what is a nationalist?

wikipedia says "...promotion of the interests of a particular nation, especially with the aim of gaining and maintaining sovereignty over the homeland"

OK then, let's who can we add to this list, besides Hitler MaoTse Tung, Mussolini etc etc

well, how about Mahatma Ghandi... he was one

all the founding fathers of the USA... they were nationalists

any person who loves his home country and likes to see his country doing well is basically a nationalist

One could then take the view from the other side.... what kind of a person are you, when you don't like to see your country doing well, when you don't like to see your country maintain its sovereignty?????

Could you be a.... hate to use this word... the "T-word"...?   you know what I mean.

I need to add a few words...

Depending on how old you are....look at all the presidents from our recent past... you may consider some as great presidents, and some as bad presidents.... it is my personal opinion that ALL of them wanted to see their country do well....none of them moved into the WH with the intent of destroying the US... it's just that the results of their tenure may not have been to your liking.

However, there are entities in existence who do want to destroy the USA. No, I am not referring to our go-to-enemy, Russia.... I am referring to those entities who make an effort to destroy the US from within. Generally, they are referred to as "globalists'

As we watch things unfold, we have already seen some of their efforts having success. When Trump was elected, it was like a wrench being thrown into a machinery. Now, they are desperate to knock him down.... which, of course, is easy to do, with his "unpresidential" behavior and personal characteristics.

If you hate Trump (and I can't blame you if you do), be careful that you don't fall prey to the siren song of those who want to destroy the US

As usual, Trump wasn't being entirely forthcoming when he admitted to being a nationalist.

There's nothing wrong with being a nationalist, most people are. But when you add the word white to nationalist it takes on a whole other meaning.

Trump is a white nationalist. White nationalism is synonymous with KKK, Nazi, Skin Head, Aryan Brotherhood, Fascist,  racist, and many other destructive hate groups.

I guess you all didn't noticed that during his campaign he was wholeheartedly endorsed by all of these hate groups.

I did.

You don't know when you've been outclassed do you?  It's ok.  You're still entertaining.

But a couple things.

1st, please supply the exact quote where Trump referred to himself as a "White Nationalist".  I don't see that as significant,  but as you do,  please offer some proof.  Audio if possible. The facebook meme you supplied above does not contain that phrase.

2nd,  would you expect all those groups to support Hillary.  If they did,  would it change your opinion of her?   If so,  I can supply a few direct quotes where KKK members supported her.  Her mentor, Robert Byrd was a Grand Wizard and she has been quoted stating just how much she admired him. So,  not only did she have support from a few,  she learned from one of their leaders.

Ooooo  I see,    you decided Trump is a white nationalist,  like a skin head or something.  And I am certain that is your honest opinion based on....    well,  something.

Now,  can we move on to your feelings about Hillary's devotion to a KKK grand wizard,   or does that,  in your opinion not really count based on...  well,,, something.

Your last two posts in this thread didn't make any sense. You want to start over and try again?
