taking a hard look at the "caravan"

The “Honduran” caravan has now grown to 14,000

So, now it’s no longer about the 1000 poor folks from Honduras who wanted to look for a better life in the US. Now, there are 13,000 others, non-Hondurans. Who are they?

80+% of them are young males younger than 35. Of course, our MSM shows us mostly pictures of mothers with crying babies.

I am sure, quite a few of this very large group of people are men who have already been deported for various crimes. And I would assume that a few ISIS fighters are among them also..

At the front of the “caravan” you can see people wearing bright colored uniforms. They are organized. I read that Videos show money being given to the marchers. Who is doing that?

Let’s face it….this is not about the 1000 folks from Honduras anymore…. This is a well-organized invasion attempt, an invasion without military personnel and weapons.

In the meantime, Pres Trump has threatened to withhold financial aid from Guatemala, for letting them march through their country towards Mexico. This threat seems to have worked. While a new group is already forming in Honduras, Guatemala has deployed barbed-wire fences and military personnel at its border check points.

If you are one of the people who say “oh, poor folks, let them in”…. I hope you got to see the movies of them tearing down the border gate at the southern border of Mexico (these pictures have now been removed). If they did this, they may also tear down your house door, once in the US.

I can guess what will happen when the caravan reaches the US border….

First they will talk…. demand admission. Then, when they are rejected, they will over-run the personnel guarding the border station. What can 50 or 100 Border Patrol Agents do, when 14,000 unarmed men rush them? The agents won’t be allowed to shoot unarmed people.

Yet, this is no longer about the 1000 Hondurans… this is an invasion force….this is a matter of national security. I hope our leaders have fortitude to treat it as such.

PS…even if you still consider these people “refugees”…..We have over half a million of homeless people in the US (thousands of them veterans)….we should not give this mob priority over our own people in need.

Further PS….Maybe the President should consider action against Mexico also, since they are allowing and even escorting this army to march through their country towards the US.

As the politicians like to say “Russia is not our friend”…. Mexico is not our friend either

You are absolutely right Gunter.  The Israelis shoot and wound people right at the border with no repercussions.  If that is what it takes,so be it.  Maybe use rubber bullets, but make sure they hurt.

thank you, Mike, for this link. It balances out my somewhat harsh comments.

Yet....

comparing this to the April "caravan"..... as your link explained, things went quite orderly then. They stopped at the border... applied for asylum.. some were accepted, others were not.   That's how it is supposed to work.

The current caravan, however, displayed a more violent nature at the Southern border of Mexico. Mexico's border patrol had closed their high steel gates. Then these guys started working on it, climbing over it, and eventually tearing it down... and then they all poured in and nobody could stop them.

Remember, these were all young males.... no woman with crying children in sight, as the MSM usually shows us.

this is a much more dangerous mob than the April group

The US vice-president, Mike Pence, has said that the Honduran president, Juan Orlando Hernández, told him that the caravan was being financed by the Venezuelan government, but neither has offered any evidence to support the claim, and reporters traveling with the group have seen no sign of Venezuelan involvement.

OK, if Venezuela is financing this, where do they get their money??  Can't we safely assume Pence meant Russia or China?
