I very much doubt that she is the future of the Democrats. But if she is it is all because of a reaction to the wacky right.
I watched the video. Pelosi, the current leader of the Democratic party, says it is the result from one NY district and nothing more. But the universal health care and free tuition for all college is popular among the youth. So I guess it depends on what you mean by "the future of the party". Gonna be a presidential contender someday? I seriously doubt it. Carrying the progressive agenda flag? Yeah, I guess so.

Why not? She'll get the women's vote, the youth vote, the minority vote and Bernie's voters.
