Mine is simply to continue doing unto others as I would have them do unto me. (Not always easy.)

John, I live in a retirement home, and I've got to be careful whom I do unto. Too many people in the same boat as me  to play the crippled old man cards. (G)

This coming year I've promised to start slowing down and taking time to smell the roses as my countdown to retirement begins in earnest.  It was just this year (2018) that I realized that the vast majority of adult vacations consisted of 3-4 day weekends and that's been a mistake. I only took 6 days for my honeymoon.  Not too late to correct.  We've already got a couple week+ vacations planned for 2019.
