Reserve Dollar

We all know the reserve dollar has enabled the USA to be a world power for ages,

But if what I read is true, approx. 62% of world settlements are in USD. It seems the USD is losing ground, and this makes sanctions that much harder to use as a weapon.

I wonder at what %  of world settlements and when does the USD lose the reserve status.

My next question is what happens, to us folks, when the USD has a loss of confidence. Some seem to think that will never happen, but if current trends continue then mathematically it has to happen some time.

Just some weird stuff I think about.

Will my land be worth twice it's current value in inflated dollars or 1/2 in devalued dollars??

Maybe I won't be around to find out.
