It isn't bad enough to diminish the normal Argentina crop this year.  20MMT more than last years drought affected crop.

Overall it will be a bigger crop than last year.  There is nothing bullish about beans.  Nothing.  In China, pigs are dying, breeding is down, the feed mix is changing.  SS is harvesting and beans are headed to port.

Farmers are going to go from being up to their behinds in beans to being up to their neck in beans.

Note how dry that its been in Brazil the past 30 days.........wet in Argentina. This has done some damage!

Some welcome rain for S.Brazil, probably not for dry C.Brazil. More unwanted rain in N.Argentina.

In Mn. they opened 20 local FSA offices for 3 days (Thurs. Fri. and next Mon.) to process loans that had originated before the shutdown. It's for loans only and no new loans or payments will be processed.

Apparently there was also a rumor going around that the US was going to lift tariffs temporarily as a good will gesture, which US officials denies as patently false.

So back down we go.
