a couple things seem inconsistent to me...

china still claims its economy is growing above 6% ,  but...

exports are down.  imports are down.  and car sales are down.  is it possible for these things to be contracting while the economy is growing by 6%?   I don't think so.

And the affect of the tariffs is just now kicking in, after the flush of the order rush to beat the tariffs.

Many different reports are agreeing that china is not growing at 6%

In fact some think china may be having some economic difficulties

Using different sources of data that is assumed to be accurate, most if not all agree china is not telling the truth in their reports about GDP

The thinking is that if china is having a small to medium to large ripple in their economy, what effect would that have on the rest of the world

I suppose we just wait and see.
