fact 1.... there is an Ebola crisis in the Republic of Congo

fact 2...hundreds of illegal aliens, from the Republic of Congo, were intercepted by Texas Border Patrol

fact 3... several medical professionals are worried about Ebola reaching the US, because of item #2

now I am reading that news reporters were not allowed to find out what's going on

Gunter, Infowars/Alex Jones is a far right wing conspiracy source which has been said by many to be a source of fake news. I wouldn’t use them as a source for objective info. They’re one of the worst.

WxFollower,

Alex Jones does indeed have some far-out theories, from time to time. However, his website, infowars, not only presents his opinions, it also presents commentaries copied from other news sites. I personally appreciate the frank reporting about the European scene. I often find stuff the European MSM would never show their readers.

Many of the articles at inforwars are backed by real video clips.

when it comes to comparing inforwars with our MSM, I have found a lot  more truth and honesty on infowars than on our MSM (assuming you stay clear of the extremist views on either side)

Just as an example, infowars has reported about the border crisis getting out of control, for several months now, while many of our MSM still accuse Trump of fabricating a crisis.

I sometimes have conversations with a friend who gets all his news information from CNN (he doesn't have a computer). It sometimes takes my breath away to find out how CNN has twisted his view of reality.

here is some more about Texas and Ebola...

and quite a few other sources.....it's not fake news created by Alex Jones

and here it claims the disease is already here

Ebola out break in Dr congo

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-48603273

https://www.krem.com/article/news/verify-congolese-immigrants-did-not-bring-ebola-to-the-us-via-the-southern-border/293-aa627f72-280e-4f08-9a3f-ad065bfaca14

WHAT WE FOUND:

Three separate Customs and Border Patrol reports show that the agency has arrested hundreds of African immigrants crossing our southern border in recent months.

On May 30th, they arrested the largest group of immigrants in 2019, which was made up of immigrants from African countries including Angola, Cameroon, and Congo.

But it’s the second fact that made the headline misleading.

The World Health Organization has reported a lot in the last month on an Ebola outbreak in Congo.

But if you stop there, you miss some important context.

The CBP confirmed to VERIFY that they monitor all immigrants to the country.

And have tests to identify cases of Ebola or other viruses and diseases around the world.

They checked all the immigrants along the Southwest border

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

BUT

How can they check ILLEGAL immigrants that do not come through the border crossings?

Cutworm, you beat me to it.

it’s important to know that the CBP tests and monitors all immigrants for Ebola and they haven’t found any traces of the virus on the southern border.
A headline that's been widely shared on social media may provide a misleading view of what’s really going on.
The article, titled: “Hundreds of Illegal Aliens from Ebola-Stricken Congo Dumped in the Streets of San Antonio,” talks about a recent move of Congolese immigrants to San Antonio, TX from where they were arrested at the Southern Border of the U.S.
It is true that Congolese immigrants were arrested by Customs and Border Protection while crossing the Southwestern US border. It’s also true that CBP transported a few hundred of these immigrants to San Antonio, TX.
But if you stop there, you miss some important context.
The CBP confirmed to VERIFY that they monitor all immigrants to the country, and have tests to identify cases of Ebola or other viruses and diseases around the world.

CARL,

They checked those that they caught and those that came through the boarder crossings. BUT not the ones that didn't get caught crossing and I contend that those are a major risk.

" What are the symptoms? It can take from 2 to 21 days, but usually 8 to 10 days, after infection for signs of Ebola to appear" 'The average EVD case fatality rate is around 50%'

That's why we need a wall and to fix the immigration issue.

The Congolese family likely did not pass through official border points, where health workers screen all travelers for a high temperature and isolate those who show signs of illness.
