Why is it that when indoor kitties puke up a hairball it's almost never on the floor, but almost always on the couch?

Because it's easier to bury it on the couch.

Huh -- never thought of that. 'Course I never saw a cat bury one either.  I thought it was because it was easier to clean hairballs on the floor up (especially if the floor is ceramic, as is mine), and why in the world would a cat want to make it easier for you?

Our Simese cat pukes a copy times a day  with no preference for the location and  no hair balls.

Mike, if it were your dog, YOU wouldn't have to clean it up.
