Can he do that?

Trump wants the wall so badly he will pardon people who take property from Texas farmers.

He can certainly issue pardons,  but I hope he doesn't try in this case.  And he certainly doesn't need to.  Eminent Domain certainly applies here.  Much more so than, for instance, grabbing land for Walmart to enhance tax revenue that so many liberals support.

The question was not can he issue pardons. The question was can he direct people to break the law and promise a pardon.

If you are a farmer in Texas where the wall is

What value for desert scrub land

Doesn't eminient law pay a fair price??

As in they don't just take it for no compensation

So is it that bad of a deal for the farmer

Not nearly as bad as a new road through prime black soil for a high way. Heck, I have seen whole farms disappear, buildings house etc all gone

Or fields get chopped up into smaller inefficent parcels
