"They need to be doused with a few buckets of icy cold reality. The first bucket: We do not face a climate emergency. Computer models certainly predict all kinds of catastrophes. But both the models and the increasingly hysterical assertions of planetary chaos are completely out of touch with reality.
The second, even colder bucket of reality: Wind and sunshine may be free, renewable, sustainable and eco-friendly. But the technologies, lands and raw materials required to harness this widely dispersed, intermittent, weather-dependent energy to benefit humanity absolutely are not. In fact, they cause far more environmental damage than any of the fossil fuel energy sources they would supposedly replace."
Wind power. Is it worth it?

Could renewable energy completely replace fossil fuels?

How is it, that a bunch of yahoos on a forum can be much smarter about critical energy issues/fundamentals/dynamics that need to be known to run our country...........than every person running for president on one side?
They would have to know(they aren't all blithering idiots) but are just making much of this stuff up because it sounds great.........to get elected.
Profound evidence of that is Joe Biden.
He never believed in an extreme Green New Deal or all these extremes.
But he had to change his tune to compete with the extreme ideas of everybody else running.

The most bizarre part of it is that we are having a climate optimum on this greening planet with its booming biosphere and life flourishing that would prefer MORE beneficial CO2, not less.
The best weather and climate in at least 1,000 years = climate crisis/emergency???
The scientific law of photosynthesis:
Sunshine + H2O + Minerals +CO2 =O2 +Sugars(food)
has been redefined for political use
Sunshine + H2O + Minerals +Pollution =O2 +Sugars(food)
By defining CO2=Pollution just look at all the great things they can do.............CLimate Accord/global socialism, Green New Deal/US socialism, carbon taxes, scientific funding.
One of them, however is NOT doing something to change the climate.
