I am not an expert on this subject, but I would like to say this….

If I was a Kurdish fighter, having fought side by side with the Americans, against ISIS, I would be quite upset about the US leaving me stranded here, and even more disturbed by the comments Pres Trump made about me.

If I was an American soldier, having fought side by side with the Kurds, against ISIS, and now I am ordered to leave, I would feel quite bad about leaving the Kurds behind.

That being said, some things don’t add up…..

I read that the Kurds had some 150,000 fighters….. and the US had 2,000 there…. Is the presence of US military really that significant? Or is the leaving of these troops blown all out of proportion?

As far as I know, Trump stated that these troops would leave, but, as far as I know, they are still there. Isn’t it obvious that Turkey attacked the Kurds, regardless of US troops being there or not.

Turkey knows that Trump cannot strike Turkey, because Turkey is a member of NATO. No wonder they don’t worry about the US in this area. They do what they want to do.

The other question…. Why are we in Syria to begin with? Why is it our business what goes on in Syria? I can see the US fighting ISIS in Iraq, because the US created this situation in Iraq. If Saddam Hussein was still in power, there probably would not have been an ISIS… but messing around in Syria?

Even more disturbing…. A few years ago, we found out that the US is training and arming AlQaeda-affiliated “rebels” in Syria. If I had lost a son, or father, in the 9/11 WTC attacks, I would be very p…d off about the US doing so. (of course, if you get all your news from the MSM, you may not know about this)

If I was a member of the MSM, or a Dem politician, I would milk this story, work this story, embellish this story, to get the most mileage out of it in our effort to take down Trump.

ABC showed a video of the Turkish air-force attacking Kurdish settlements….other MSM stations followed suit. Of course, it quickly was noted that this video clip was 2 years old, taken at a quite different location (well, what’ya expect???).

…and the news stations and the radio stations are abuzz with the Kurd/Syria/Turkey story… and Trump is at fault, of course.

So, I am taking all this excitement on the news stations with a grain of salt.

oh... did i mention that the US has very important AirForce bases in Turkey. Furthermore, the US stores 50 nukes on these bases. This issue has to be treated very carefully.
