Should be interesting to see the ratings in ND after the big snow storm.
The 2019 U.S. #corn crop continues to be the slowest-maturing one on record - 73% as of Oct. 13 - well below avg of 92%.
2019 continues to lag 2009 (77% on Oct. 13), but '19 *slightly* closed the gap on '09 this week (i.e. the delays did not worsen relative to '09).
As of Oct. 13, some 22% of U.S. #corn was harvested, below 5yr avg of 36% and +7 on the week. Not slowest ever, which is 2009 with 14%. However, it's still early & given the slow pace of maturity, easy to imagine #harvest19 falling off pace a bit. Weather will dictate that, too.
