Democrats angrily walk out of White House meeting after Trump 'meltdown'

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/democrats-angrily-walk-out-white-house-meeting-after-trump-meltdown-n1067716

No doubt Trump was his usual, bombastic self for which there is absolutely  no excuse. However Pelosi knows this and instead of using tact or trying to get along, she intentionally pushes his buttons and goes after him in sensitive areas to enrage him then acts innocent and plays dumb.

Pelosi: In another heated encounter, Pelosi challenged Trump on Russia's involvement in Syria, saying "All roads with you lead to Putin."

The MSM claiming that Pelosi was "challenging him" is bs.  She was accusing him of the one thing that will tick him off the most after the Mueller witch hunt of 2.5 years. The only reason to do this, is if she wanted to get him to flare up.

Trump called Pelosi a 3rd rate politician.........very bad. Pelosi accused Trump of being a traitor and in cahoots with Putin, very, very bad. Who ended the discussion, walked out then turned it into a press conference to vilify Trump as the villain?

This was staged and similar to the theatrics during the so called "Trump, fake border crisis".

This is the MO for Pelosi-Schumer team.

"At one point during the meeting, Schumer brought up former Defense Secretary James Mattis, who told NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday that Trump's decision to pull troops from Syria could lead to ISIS's resurgence."

metmike: This is ludicrous and not based on realities other than as an excuse to use for us to remain there forever and ever. We defeated ISIS. Can they slowly grow again? It's possible but our soldiers shouldn't be there forever after they obliterated the enemy.

"Perhaps the biggest myth being propagated by the media regarding the Kurds in Syria is that they were singularly instrumental in defeating Isis and that, with their defeat, the terrorist outfit will instantaneously re-emerge from the war-torn landscape. To take the second point first, the roughly 2,000 foreign Isis fighters (mainly from Europe and Chechnya) and 10,000 Arabs languishing in detention camps run by the Kurds in northeastern Syria are disheveled, demoralized, unarmed, and hundreds of miles from the final jihadist bastion of Idlib in northwestern Syria (where it is far from clear they would be welcome anyway by the non-Isis jihadis who control the province). In short, the Isis leadership has been decimated, to the extent that the terror outfit is to all intents and purposes no longer a meaningful threat in Syria.

It is therefore preposterous for the media to take seriously the scaremongering from politicians that these last remnants of the failed caliphate, even if they do escape en masse, will prove to be a serious threat to the battle-hardened Syrians and Russians (and Turks themselves if they are true to their word). In the meantime, by threatening to abandon the camps, the Kurds were shamelessly blackmailing America in a way that was no less contemptible than Ankara’s threat to unleash millions of refugees into Europe if criticism of their invasion was not tempered. Talk about stabbing an ally in the back."

boy, ludicrous and not based on reality. You said a mouthful there MM. And when talking schumer that is all you get...then add in Schiff, Pelosi and the rest and you wonder why Trump has finally had enough?

Just watched the special on Supreme court Justice nominee Bork. This crap may have gotten one of its starting roots right then with the awful untrue, mean spirited, uncalled for attacks on a great man. Ted Kennedy said enough ludicrous things during those hearing to qualify him for the Schumer hall of fame. And what did the left do? Nearly put Teddy the rapist murderer up for sainthood.

Dems storm out of Syria meeting with Trump: 'We have to pray for his health'

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pelosi-dems-trump-syria-white-house-meeting-storm-out

So now we know why Pelosi and Schumer rushed out of the meeting(while other dems stayed).........................

They had to get to their church ASAP to send emergency prayers to God for President Trump(-:

What will be the next absurd thing to happen?

So we know that democratic leadership's number 1 objective is to destroy President Trump. Both sides can acknowledge this. One side agrees with the objective, the other disagrees.

But who would actually believe Pelosi is praying for Trump and wants others to do this to help him?

Help him do what? Suffer less from her and the democrats investigations, vilifying (lies by Schiff and others) abuse and attemps to destroy him.

This off the charts disingenuous statement is in complete contradiction with her actions as to see  what she really is trying to do......and pretending to use religion and prayer and a fake moral high ground, while she baits Trump and  makes it almost impossible for him to accomplish anything or work with her. .........then blames him and prays for him.

"White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham dismissed the reports from the meeting."

"The President was measured, factual and decisive, while Speaker Pelosi's decision to walk out was baffling, but not surprising," Grisham said. "She had no intention of listening or contributing to an important meeting on national security issues. While democratic leadership chose to storm out and get in front of the cameras to whine, everyone else in the meeting chose to stay in the room and work on behalf of this country."

Things almost certainly will get worse.
