U.S. export inspections last week were among the strongest so far for the 2019/20 year. Of the total, only 70k tonnes of #soybeans sailed to mainland #China.

HRW #wheat hit 206kt, HRS 189kt. Mexico and Colombia were the big destinations for #corn.

Actual sales for U.S. #soybeans last week were not that bad, but they were offset by a cancellation of 584k tonnes to unknown destinations. #China bought 1 cargo on the week. #Corn and #wheat sales were weak, too.

Here's a look at recent weekly sales of U.S. #corn. Maybe 2 relatively strong weeks in the past 4 months? Total sales thru Oct. 17 have narrowly edged 2012's levels, so they are the lowest in 7 years. But just a couple weeks ago they had been the lowest in 17 years.
