People often talk about the “Deep State” during political discussions. According to them, the Deep State is a very powerful entity (or group of people/corporations) that decides the course the US takes and controls the presidents and the House.

This “Deep State” has its own goals and interests…. and in pursuit of its own interests does not care about the welfare of the People.

Of course, our media (with the NYT and CNN at front and center), have made it quite clear that the “Deep State” only exists in the imagination of crazy conspiracy nuts. There is no such thing as the “Deep State”.

Yet, some people saw an interview of Gen. Wesley Clarke, during which he described a meeting he attended, early 2001. In that meeting, “they” decided to topple 7 regimes, staring with Iraq, Libya, Syria, Iran, etc. One person present at that meeting stated, that the People would never go for the planned offenses, “unless there was another Pearl Harbor”. Well, what ya know, a few months later we had 9/11 .

They then apparently convinced Pres Bush to attack Iraq under false pretenses, which later turned Iraq into ISIS territory.

Pres Obama followed their mandate and caused the fall of Libya, which then turned into ISIS territory.

In 2016, the Chosen One, Hillary Clinton, was supposed to be elected and attack Syria and Iran… and she was ready to start a nuclear war.

Looking at these facts, an observer could come to the conclusion that there was indeed a “Deep State”.Yet, the MSM kept ridiculing all those who referred to the existence of such an entity.

UNTIL TODAY…..

The NYT suddenly switched its stance. The NYT tells us now, there is indeed a Deep State. However, according to the NYT, the Deep State is not an evil “cabal”. Rather, it is a group of patriotic civil servants who want to protect the Republic from Trump

I got all this information, when I had dinner at the house of a friend, last night. He gets all his news from CNN and the NYT….therefore, he is very informed about today’s politics and geopolitical events.

Actually, it wasn’t a dinner… it was more like a snack...it was Hot Dogs and Cool Aid. The Hot Dogs were great, his Cool Aid had a funny taste though
