How Much Coal do we use?

I keep hearing it's a dying industry, and I expect that will eventually be true,  but I am of the impression we still use plenty to generate electricity.    Not seeing data beyond 2013...    There must be more current.

Yes and we are not even in the climate accord.  China, that is has been increasing coal....and Is using On my way! thing like double the US.

But we should be using more. Coal is not bad. It’s cheap, very abundant, extraordinarily reliable and produces beneficial CO2. 

There is some pollution but it uses much, much, much less land than wind, doesn’t kill birds or use metals for construction which is a huge problem in itself for turbines.
