Impeachment: Trump's son tweets name of alleged whistleblower

https://news.yahoo.com/impeachment-trumps-son-tweets-name-alleged-whistleblower-154514305.html

"Identifying any name for the whistleblower will simply place that individual and their family at risk," he told AFP."

At risk for what?

This is a made up narrative in trying to paint a picture of this person as a patriotic American doing their duty, risking everything to come forward.

The problem with revealing their identity is that it will reveal their agenda.

The dems and Adam Schiff have been working with the "whistle blower" since back in August(and he got busted lying about it back in September when he claimed to not have had any prior contact but documents proved otherwise.)

If the whistle blower is credible..........let's find out. A person accused and charged with a crime would have legal rights that included their attorney cross examining/asking questions to the person accusing them and checking their background. This is the law in our democracy.

You wouldn't go to court and have the prosecutor with evidence that one side was able to present.........and the prosecutor tell the defense "I have decided that this witness/person that came forward with the evidence is credible, end of story. You don't get to know who it is or anything about them because I decided that already.

This is exactly what Adam Schiff is doing.

Risk?    It's not like he informed on the Clintons...  Now that would be risky  <G>

But he's a dem operative with a long association with many prominent dems, so he's not about to talk about the Clintons

Here's the quote again:

"Identifying any name for the whistleblower will simply place that individual and their family at risk," he told AFP."

What will their family be at risk of?

There are many thousands of people who have attacked Trump and accused Trump of  thousands of things the last 3 years. Name one of them that was hurt or whose family was hurt as a result of it?

CNN and CNBC anchors target him all day long every day for the past 3 years,  with the NYT and WP very similar.

Bashing Trump has become the most popular thing to do in this country for one side and a badge of honor for dems/MSM that can score points doing it.

Somehow, we  are to believe that THIS complaint, unlike the thousands of others that did NOT result in harm, is putting this person and absurdly, their family at risk.

Again, at risk for what to happen? All the evidence, based on the thousands of other complaints indicates that there is no risk. If this is wrong, then give me an example of one family member being harmed by Trump after somebody complained about him or attacked him.

The only risk is that of being outed as a political operative.

The dems are using(abusing) the whistle blower program with this scheme to take down the president.

Why else would Schiff have lied about knowing about the complaint before it was released to the everybody else..............until he got busted with documents he didn't know would get out/proof that he was lying.

He blatantly lied because telling the truth means, we have to ask the question. What were Schiff and the democrats(republicans did not know interestingly) doing for that month with the whistle blower that they had to lie to us about?

So is Adam Schiff the right man to be conducting a hearing by the intelligence committe that is supposedly trying to establish the objective truth?  As shown above, he lied about the details of the phone conversation, completely making up a false version that he wanted the American people to hear(in order to poison their minds against Trump)  who were tuned into the hearing, as he pretended to be reading it from a manuscipt below him.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZlJqa2h_F4

This too:

Adam Schiff Received the Whistleblower Complaint a Month Ago and Didn't Report It Until Now, Why?

"So this is suddenly a national emergency that needs immediate attention but over a month ago..........it wasn't?

Something was going on by Schiff and his colleages during that month related to their scheming that caused them to hold back.

I actually watched much of the hearing. Schiff continually hammered Maguire over the time delay that it took for the whistle blower report to get passed on, which they finally had after all that time, suggesting that this was because of an attempted cover up by him and others at the orders of the president............but Schiff was notified a month earlier of the whistle blower complaint, August 12th than what he was indicating during the hearing!

Did he wait that long intentionally so that he could manufacture the delay narrative?

Or did he wait for some other reason..........maybe, thinking that by ignoring it and not confronting the president right away, the president would continue on that course and he could bust him with more stuff related to this before he came forward with the national emergency?

I speculate that its the last objective. Wait longer to catch Trump in another call or saying/doing something else besides making a phone call. Maybe  Gulliani will do something if he waits a month..........or maybe Trump  withholding the aid package that went to Ukraine..................yes, thats what he was hoping for.

There was a delay in the military aid to the Ukraine and he was waiting as long as possible for the delay to stretch out. He was hoping that Trump would authorize the money to be sent in tandem with news from Ukraine that they had found Biden corruption..............and use that to prove the connection/corruption......but then, Trump authorized the military aid with nothing given him from the Ukraine, so he forwarded the complaint then......after the delay because he speculated incorrectly about what was going to happen."

Whistleblower attorney tweeted of Trump 'coup,' rebellion

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/nov/6/mark-zaid-whistleblower-attorney-tweeted-trump-cou/

"The attorney representing the Ukraine whistleblower tweeted about starting a “coup” against President Trump that would end with his impeachment almost as soon as he took the oath of office.

Mark S. Zaid wrote on his certified Twitter account on Jan. 30, 2017, Mr. Trump’s 11th day in power, that “#coup has started. First of many steps. #rebellion. #impeachment will follow ultimately. #lawyers.”

The only universe where a person would be using this particular attorney to represent them as a whistleblower is if that person is a biased operative trying to impeach Trump using a like minded attorney and the dems to help him accomplish that.

'Coup has started,' whistleblower's attorney said in 2017 posts calling for impeachment

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/coup-has-started-whistleblowers-attorney-said-in-2017-posts-calling-for-impeachment

“The whistleblower’s lawyer gave away the game," the Trump campaign's communications director, Tim Murtaugh, told Fox News. "It was always the Democrats’ plan to stage a coup and impeach President Trump and all they ever needed was the right scheme. They whiffed on Mueller so now they’ve settled on the perfectly fine Ukraine phone call. This proves this was orchestrated from the beginning.”

Added House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy: "We should take [Zaid] at his word that this is a coordinated, premeditated plot to overturn the election."

Trump has repeatedly accused Democrats and partisans in the intelligence community of effectively plotting a coup against him, through selective leaks and lengthy investigations."

Trump gets alot of facts wrong and makes many false accusations, uses crude language and is mean at times.

On this issue, however, all the facts prove him right.

On all issues related to Trump, one side believes one thing, the other side believes the complete opposite.

Exact same situations. Except same person but somehow, we get completely different descriptions of what happened and how we should interpret it.

The MSM is no longer in the business of reporting objective news. Every story about Trump is written or broadcast, dripping with editorial comments and spinning, always bad for him.

All good/positive news is completely ignored or twisted to have a negative for Trump.

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/41832/

This has gradually become worse and worse and worse and become accepted as the new reality in 2019, as if its completely normal.

If a person living 30 years ago would have been teleported to 2019 and watched CNN/CNBC for one day, imagine their thoughts?

No other news and no other person matters. We must destroy Trump.

Notice how the left has redefined terms like "Federal Crime", "Treason", "Traitor" as "We HATE Trump and everything he does or says".

There is absolutely no limit to their rationalizations.  The mark of true sociopaths.

Here is the actual content of your link cliff.

With a comment.

The article at that link is not an editorial, it's from their news department reporting on the news.  This version of the news(which would qualify as fake news) is loaded with numerous blatantly opinionated, one sided verbiage that is not the mark of an objective, professional journalist reporting but instead is clearly an activist who is abusing "freedom of the press" to impose their belief system of "hate Tump" on everybody they can............and they are getting paid money for this job.

"Earlier today, Donald Trump Jr. found himself inundated with criticism after he decided to share a link on Twitter to an article from far-right online rag Breitbartwhich purported to contain the possible identity of the brave whistleblower who originally exposed President Trump’s impeachable Ukraine scandal. The administration has been trying to expose this patriotic person’s name since he/she first revealed the information because they intend to engage in their usual underhanded smear tactics and ruin the individual’s credibility.

More importantly, Trump Jr.’s sharing of the article to his 4 million followers could very likely be endangering the life of the whistleblower, given that the increasingly unhinged members of the MAGA movement have already demonstrated a chilling willingness to go after people their president deems a threat"

Terrifying climate change warning: 12 years until we’re doomed

Illustration of climate change.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

In contrast to the fake climate crisis and manufactured picture above intended to manipulate the way that you think(propaganda/brain wash) let's look at the real planet earth based on authentic science, actual observations and authentic data/image below.

Carbon Dioxide Fertilization Greening Earth, Study Finds

                   https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/2016/carbon-dioxide-fertilization-greening-earth

From a quarter to half of Earth’s vegetated lands has shown significant greening over the last 35 years largely due to rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide, according to a new study published in the journal Nature Climate Change on April 25.

An international team of 32 authors from 24 institutions in eight countries led the effort, which involved using satellite data from NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer instruments to help determine the leaf area index, or amount of leaf cover, over the planet’s vegetated regions. The greening represents an increase in leaves on plants and trees equivalent in area to two times the continental United States.

globe of Earth from North Pole perspectiveThis image shows the change in leaf area across the globe from 1982-2015.Credits: Boston University/R. Myneni

Green leaves use energy from sunlight through photosynthesis to chemically combine carbon dioxide drawn in from the air with water and nutrients tapped from the ground to produce sugars, which are the main source of food, fiber and fuel for life on Earth. Studies have shown that increased concentrations of carbon dioxide increase photosynthesis, spurring plant growth.

However, carbon dioxide fertilization isn’t the only cause of increased plant growth—nitrogen, land cover change and climate change by way of global temperature, precipitation and sunlight changes all contribute to the greening effect.

"How dare you continue to look away and come here saying that you are doing enough when the politics and solutions needed are still nowhere in sight," she said.

metmike: Back on the real planet, not only is it massively greening up but even the deserts are greening up.

Using satellite images, Venter et al. 2018 found an eight percent increase in woody vegetation in sub-Saharan Africa over the last three decades, underscoring the global “greening trend”.

Deserts 'greening' from rising CO2

greening-earth

After analyzing 45 studies from eight countries, Lixin Wang, assistant professor of earth sciences in the School of Science at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, and a Ph.D. student in Wang’s group, Xuefei Lu, concluded the greening likely stems from the impact of rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide on plant water savings and consequent increases in available soil water.

Recent regional scale analyses using satellite-based vegetation indices such as the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index have found extensive areas of dryland greening in areas of the Mediterranean, the Sahel, the Middle East and northern China, as well as greening trends in Mongolia and South America, according to the paper.

Lu and Wang considered other potential drivers that could have caused the greening, including increased rainfall and changes in land-management practices. But only carbon dioxide provided a global explanation for changes to dryland vegetation.

To date, the global average concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased by nearly 27 percent between 1960 and 2015, with the expectation of a continued rise in years to come, according to the researchers.

The researchers believe the greening is a response to higher atmospheric carbon dioxide inducing decreases in plant stomatal conductance — the measure of the rate of passage of carbon dioxide entering, or water vapor exiting, through the stomata of a leaf — and increases in soil water, thus enhancing vegetation growth.

Yeah, right. Having massive increases in food production and crop yields is a bad thing (-:

Soybeans: Yield by Year, US

There obviously are other contributing factors with genetics and farming technology (+75%) but the +CO2 and weather(+25%) have been a big plus.

With Corn, it's a different picture because of the  introduction of nitrogen fertilizer causing corn yields to triple real fast and not as much to do with CO2 or weather during that initial tripling. However, recent decades have featured a steady increase, along with a steady increase in CO2 and beneficial weather.

U.N. Predicts Disaster if Global Warming Not Checked

PETER JAMES SPIELMANNJune 29, 1989

https://www.apnews.com/bd45c372caf118ec99964ea547880cd0

UNITED NATIONS (AP) _ A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.

Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of ″eco- refugees,′ ′ threatening political chaos, said Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program, or UNEP.

He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human control.

As the warming melts polar icecaps, ocean levels will rise by up to three feet, enough to cover the Maldives and other flat island nations, Brown told The Associated Press in an interview on Wednesday.

Coastal regions will be inundated; one-sixth of Bangladesh could be flooded, displacing a fourth of its 90 million people. A fifth of Egypt’s arable land in the Nile Delta would be flooded, cutting off its food supply, according to a joint UNEP and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency study.

″Ecological refugees will become a major concern, and what’s worse is you may find that people can move to drier ground, but the soils and the natural resources may not support life. Africa doesn’t have to worry about land, but would you want to live in the Sahara?″ he said.

UNEP estimates it would cost the United States at least $100 billion to protect its east coast alone.

Shifting climate patterns would bring back 1930s Dust Bowl conditions to Canadian and U.S. wheatlands, while the Soviet Union could reap bumper crops if it adapts its agriculture in time, according to a study by UNEP and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis.

Excess carbon dioxide is pouring into the atmosphere because of humanity’s use of fossil fuels and burning of rain forests, the study says. The atmosphere is retaining more heat than it radiates, much like a greenhouse.

The most conservative scientific estimate that the Earth’s temperature will rise 1 to 7 degrees in the next 30 years, said Brown.

The difference may seem slight, he said, but the planet is only 9 degrees warmer now than during the 8,000-year Ice Age that ended 10,000 years ago.

Brown said if the warming trend continues, ″the question is will we be able to reverse the process in time? We say that within the next 10 years, given the present loads that the atmosphere has to bear, we have an opportunity to start the stabilizing process.″

He said even the most conservative scientists ″already tell us there’s nothing we can do now to stop a ... change″ of about 3 degrees.

″Anything beyond that, and we have to start thinking about the significant rise of the sea levels ... we can expect more ferocious storms, hurricanes, wind shear, dust erosion.″

Alan Dershowitz: Congress is trying to 'create crimes out of nothing'

https://thehill.com/homenews/sunday-talk-shows/469758-alan-dershowitz-congress-is-trying-to-create-crimes-out-of-nothing

Attorney Alan Dershowitz warned that Americans should be “frightened” of the House’s impeachment investigation, accusing Democrats of trying to “create crimes out of nothing.”

“Whether you’re from New York or the middle of the country, you should be frightened by efforts to try to create crimes out of nothing,” Dershowitz said Sunday on John Catsimatidis’ radio show.

“Well, I spent the afternoon yesterday searching the federal criminal statutes from beginning to end. I couldn’t find the crime.”

“In a desperate effort to try to find crimes [committed by] President Trump, they’re just making it up. And that means we are all in danger.”

metmike: This is why I compared it to the made up climate crisis above.

Zelensky has publicly said he would never order a politicizes prosecution. CNN's Fareed Zakaria reacts to the news that the initial announcement was allegedly supposed to be on his show."

The president of Ukraine has stated that he did not feel any pressure. The tapes do NOT show Trump demanding, just asking nicely and no quid pro quo. The Ukrainians have stated that they didn't even know that military aid was held up.

But good thing we have CNN and the NYT to clear things up with their version.

Despite these facts, which today's breaking news from them contradicts, they tell us that the president of Ukraine was getting ready to publicly announce the investigation because of the quid pro quo but something happened.

And he had picked CNN of all places to do it............according to CNN of course.

Of course he was going to do it on CNN according to CNN. When you manufacture facts that can't be verified by any other sources except you, your story can't be busted by others.

So now, we have the latest/newest version. Still no quid pro quo because the money was released and there was no investigation but ALMOST a quid pro quo.

Just days away from a real quid pro quo.........so close but no cigar. That is if you believe CNN and the NYT's is reporting honestly, despite 3  years of being dishonest on Trump stories.

Hi Cliff

A whistle Blower is protected from retribution, such as losing their job or other such retaliation

It does not protect indentifying a name

I am constantly amazed at how many posts seem to become a lecture on climate change.

Can we please stay with the original topic

MM

I still get only the left 1/2 of your maps which sort of doesn't show the Great lakes very often

I think you said you could not do anything to change it which means it is what it is

Which I fully understand

You can do things on here I can't so who am I to complain

Your work is greatly appreciated and too often people don't tell you what great work you do

I would be lost with out this forum

Congrats MM

Thanks very much Wayne!

Yes, for sure I get way, waaaaay carried away with the climate change stuff.

I'll try to keep it out of threads like this.

As an atmospheric scientist that knows and can prove the truth on the bogus climate crisis/emergency, exposing it is my mission here.

We are being bombarded with propoganda on the fake climate crisis  by the gate keepers but get almost ZERO information that proves that we are in a climate optimum.

The objective of the gate keepers is to silence and discredit people like me.

If you didn't get it here Wayne, where would you get it?

MarketForum, since it allows for graphs, charts and data sharing is the perfect place to post proof of the climate optimum to go up against scary words(and siting extreme weather events that have happened  before with busted computer simulations of weather/climate for the next 100 years) from the other side to convince you of the FAKE crisis/emergency.

The data and observations are what is really happening. REAL, R-E-A-L!

Jason Chaffetz: Why Schiff's whistleblower claims at Trump impeachment hearing are impossible to believe

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/schiff-whistleblower-claims-trump-impeachment-jason-chaffetz

In the first day of testimony, there was barely any mention of the original witness or the transcript of the call that lies at the center of the allegations.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff went to great lengths to suppress any reference to the witness during the first day of testimony, even going so far as to claim (laughably) that he doesn't know who the witness is.

Let’s think about that for a moment. We know that the whistleblower met with Schiff’s STAFF. Are we supposed to believe that the Congressman stepped out of the office when he arrived or hid in another room when the whistleblower meeting took place?

The notion that Adam Schiff doesn't know the identity of a whistleblower so many in Washington can already identify by name is laughable.

Is Schiff trying to tell us that his staff told him, “We’ve just met with the whistleblower.” To which he replied, “don’t tell me his name! I don’t want to meet him! But let me use everything he just told you to impeach the president.” Who could believe that? Such a scenario is not only ridiculous, but it would also be irresponsible.

Remember, this is the same Schiff whose promises of "ample evidence of collusion in plain sight" were repudiated by the final Mueller Report. He is hardly a beacon of credibility, but the notion that he doesn't know the identity of a whistleblower so many in Washington can already identify by name is laughable.
