First Lady Melania Trump Booed While Speaking at Youth Summit in Baltimore

WATCH: First Lady Melania Trump Loudly Booed by Students During Baltimore Opioid Summit

"If your president husband calls the city 'a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess' where 'no human being would want to live' and then you hold an 'anti-bullying' event there, on behalf of the White House, honestly, what do you expect?"

metmike: Melania Trump is there to deliver a positive message on bullying and positive message on drugs and other things.  Even if she was there for something else, common respect and decency would compel her audience to welcome her with an applause to thank her for generously using her valuable time to visit these students to try to have a positive impact on their lives. How many schools get the privilege of having the first lady talk to them in person?

So this is disgraceful. And where did these kids get the idea that its ok to act this way? Adults. And the adults are getting their messages from the MSM, who upon seeing this booing event, are actually excited and can't wait to show America every time a Trump goes somewhere that they get booed with their headlines "Look everyone, here's proof that we are right about  the Trumps and America hates them like we do"

This is teaching a very bad lesson to our young people.

Melania Trump booed at Baltimore youth event

“Hello, everyone,” Mrs. Trump said as she tried to talk through sustained boos at the start of her brief remarks.

The jeering subsided, then restarted as she concluded by telling the audience: “Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving. May God bless you, your families and the United States of America.”

metmike: Class lady with an altruistic objective to help a bunch of kids who are being misled into thinking this is acceptable behavior.

Trump painted a bleak picture of Baltimore. These kids had a chance of presenting a nicer image of their neighborhood. They didn't.

or Trump once again spoke the truth and that triggered the left. Someday somebody is going to write a book about the Trump presidency and in that book him speaking bluntly and honestly will be mentioned. I hope also there is a chapter on how Trump ask questions about corruption and was impeached and the left committed corruption and nothing was done.

Trump, using his typical lack of tact and crude language made some totally unacceptable, divisive remarks aimed at questioning the performance of Cummings, (who had been attacking him) by using the horrible conditions that people in Baltimore are forced to live in.

Trump was out of line with his comments of course.

But what does the MSM do? They love it. Perfect opportunity for them to get an entire city to hate Trump(and tell us it means he's a racist because Baltimore is mostly black and the man he was attacking is black).  When the hatred is expressed by young people with blatant disrespect for a Trump that was there  with admirable help them, they can't wait to sensationalize it, justify it and use it to amplify the hatred.

All the headlines were about the boos. None about why Mrs. Trump was there.

I guess many Americans think its high time to question the liberals who have controlled the large urban areas for decades and those areas have suffered their control long enough.

First lady Melania Trump offers a classy response about teens booing her in Baltimore

"I am in this fight with you and I am fighting for you."

"We live in a democracy and everyone is entitled to their opinion," the first lady said in a statement released Wednesday, "but the fact is we have a serious crisis in our country and I remain committed to educating children on the dangers and deadly consequences of drug abuse."

Wouldn't it be great if her husband acted this way?

I think similar thoughts almost daily.  But it begs the question....  If Trump were so diplomatic,  would he get as much done?

MM, IMHO Bush 1 and Bush 2 both acted as Mrs Trump....and were pilloried daily in every stinking liberal outlet. You could make the point atleast they were kind, well mannered, and had tons of class but in the end they were savaged and gave no fight back. That emboldens the left. Not your Dad's left anymore.
