As we all know, after Trump was elected, it looked like the flood gates were opened, as huge numbers of illegal aliens and asylum seekers tried to make it into the US. Not surprising.... it was no secret....Trump wanted to tighten our borders...so, they all had to hurry up and make it to the USA.

However, during the last few seeks, apprehensions were noticeably less than before.

My personal belief is that this reversal was caused by the Democrats, and their mouthpiece, the MSM. 

At the beginning, people in the Southern countries were expecting to find easy entry into the US, especially if they brought along children. (this caused a large number of innocent children being trafficked or kidnapped or purchased)

Fortunately, the democratic members of Congress, in an effort to make Trump look bad, took it upon themselves to make trips to detention centers. They showed pictures of "cages" (for heaven's sake, these border crashers were arrested!!!). All of a sudden, it became a 'human crisis". Lots of TV time was given to this issue, with the focus being on these "victims", especially the minors.

Apparently, word got around, and people in the Southern countries now don't want to take the risk of winding up behind "cages".

Thank you AOC, especially the photo up of you crying (in front of an empty parking lot). It did wonders for our immigration crisis.
