A bit early to get all worked up but parts of SA could turn dry or are dry
Brazil has 93 % planted and 63% rated good
The other 7 % is waiting on rain to plant beans
Argentina has maybe 50 % planted [not sure on those numbers] with dry weather a problem all during planting with uneven rain. Some got good rain, some didn't. The planted beans can last longer with out rain as the soil holds moisture but the soil never good really soaked before planting
The rest of Argentina is a mixed bag for moisture but the soil does not hold moisture as well
This from the SA soil advisor as of Dec 10-11-12
So: Rain fall going forward and how much of the country receives rain might bear watching
Thanks Wayne!
