But this past crop Brazil is sold out of corn
Brazil is expecting to pay 5.50 USD/bu for imported corn for livestock until new crop Safrina corn starts harvest, so how much ethanol will they have for sale???
If Brazil sold that much corn to china then china must be on their way to increasing the hog herd
Once the hog numbers get replaced then china will need grains plus ethonal if air quality is an issue and they bought all of Brazil corn with only 1/2 of normal hog numbers
Deal or no deal china looks poised to buy more grain
Might be a process over some yrs
Doess that make sense that SA can't provide all of china needs, if china increases their needs, over time
We can't forget the other Asian countries affected by ASF
Will they find a solution and rebuid numbers and grain imports???
Seems this wild boar population is what keeps ASF as a problem
China seems willing to waive domestic tarriffs on grain if they need it from the USA

Trying to predict China is almost impossible. They have a billion people that need to eat and they can't grow enough food there to feed all those people, so we know they will be needed some of the food that we grow.
The Climate Accord commitment that they made is no commitment at all.
They, along with all the other counties that the UN designated as undeveloped/poor, as well as India are not obligated to cut emissions.
China stated that they will consider maxing out in CO2 emissions by the year 2030.
In addition they GET money from the rich/developed countries like Canada(Trump withdrew, so not the US until a democrat is elected president although Obama already sent the biggest donation so far, 2 billion dollars before he left office).
However, most of the countries in the Climate Accord are not following their commitments...........and some of the poor countries are mad because they are not getting their money(the Climate Accord will do nothing for the climate. It's objective is global socialism and sustainable growth-meaning the rich countries, that are over consuming must have much weaker economies because a strong economy uses up too many natural resources which is not sustainable-in their view)
So China has been building more coal plants and emitting even more CO2, though they are using technology with scrubbers to eliminate much of the real pollution that the US eliminated many years ago because of our strict EPA laws.
This means that their air is getting cleaner with the increasing CO2.
I checked on that amount that Obama already donated to the Green Climate Fund of the Climate Accord.........that goes to undeveloped countries to spread the wealth(though they call it climate reparations and for climate adaption) and was wrong.
He pledged 3 billion initially(more to come down the road) but only got 1 million out before he left office and Trump stopped it by withdrawing.

Note on the graph above only the rich countries send money............not the countries that are emitting the most CO2(China is double the US and India is way up there) but the rich countries because its just a transfer of wealth........global socialism. The "climate" part of it is just a guise to sell it to people as a save the planet scheme. There would/will be no affect on the climate and its not intended to.........
