OK,  there's been lots of bad news,  but this is the 1st ecometric I've seen to take a hit.

March Empire State Mfg Survey plunged to the lowest level since 2009 at -21.5 from the prev. 12.9.  This is not one of the more significant metrics and is strictly regional,  but the scope of the move is an attention grabber.   Will be watching for more news and posting as it becomes available.
