There will be a need for seasonal farm workers, very soon. Some need those workers now that have green houses. Others need workers in approx 1 month, give or take about crop and location

Usually in our situation, if local help can't be found, then off shore workers come in. Well: what a mess

One person working from home says you need forms a,d f and probably an inspector

Another calls back 6 hrs later and says the inspector is in lock down but you still need an inspection form signed and delivered

You get the idea. It's chaos with no clear understanding of the rules. We don't even know if our local unemployment office is open, and my feeble efforts to go online and find out, failed, as the info was not even posted. Maybe I wasn't looking the right place but nobody could tell me a yes or no. We have an employee on unemployment, waiting for spring work to start, then full time after.

Of coarse unemployment is reaching numbers never heard of since the depression but when unemployment is topped up, why do any work. Where is the incentive

 Everybody in our family has done those jobs. Does that mean others who are not working are too good to do this work or are they just plain lazy

Has our gov't made it too easy to be lazy

Folks tell us they need money in 3 weeks or less

Well come on down to our farm and we can direct you to a job.
