We have been pretty lucky here in WC Illinois. Hope it dries out for you soon ! I know what it feels like to be way too wet after last year, We had 2 good days in the field 3 weeks ago. Drying up here now and we may be able to work in a few days. Next chance of rain is around Friday. Drove south 50 miles and it was much wetter. Fields had standing water in places

This year and last year both had pretty wet soils  at this time of year, with 2019 actually a bit wetter.

But what matters is the April/May weather.

Had approx. 2" day ago

No standing water today unless somebodies farm needs tile,  so soil is not water logged

We don't usually start anything up here before April 15-20 and some times 1st of May

Soil is firm but has that wet sad feel to it

Need some sun, warm and a bit of wind would really help

Sort of a light mist today

Not good for drying out soil

Stay healthy, some day it will be go time

Here's how the soil moisture progressed last year from March to June 2019..........it never dried out.
