The American Petroleum Institute reported late Tuesday that U.S. crude supplies rose by 11.9 million barrels for the week ended April 3, according to sources. The API data also reportedly showed gasoline stockpiles up by almost 9.5 million barrels, while distillate inventories declined by 177,000 barrels. Inventory data from the Energy Information Administration will be released Wednesday.
