Just talked to a friend of mine who lives in a small town in OK of about 30,000 people. He runs a security company he said he got small business loan of little over $100,000 when they were first available. He said the bank called him when they first came out and told him about them and if he wanted one he had better get it before the money runs out. Just thought that was strange when all I have been hearing on the news was how hard it is to get one if at all, and here the bank was trying to give them away.
Our farm applied for a loan and so did our other son
Our bank sent us an e-mail as they probably did for all their customers
My wife said it was the easiest application she had ever filled out
The money has not hit our bank acct. but just heard on the TV last night they are lowering the requirements on labour expenses to encourage more people to be eligable
Our local bank manager was most helpful
We called 1st to find out if we understood the application requirements vs our farm and then went ahead with the application, which we did on line.
