I was just reading an article where Indian civilians decided to boycott all chinese products in solidarity with Indian china border clashes

Then reality struck as india could not find Inian made products on the shelf. China has taken over India's market

This got me to wondering

How would Canada and the USA make out if we tried to boycott chinese goods

I have no idea, but my guess is china has a substantial share of our market. We buy cheap not domestic production

The trade deficit is proof we buy chinese products

It is a shame we don't support domestic but reality

So long as the reserve dollar allows us to print and buy foreign products what is the incentive to buy domestic

Our biggest export is debt

Is that a good thing???
