metmike: Old news from last week:
#China has booked 4.04 million tonnes of U.S. #soybeans as of June 25 for delivery in 2020/21, the most for the date since 2014. 4.04 million tonnes = 148 million bushels
Have to keep an eye on sales of #soybeans to non-#China destinations. As of June 25, sales for 2020/21 totaled 2.9 million tonnes (42% of total). That is near average for recent years. Better than last year but not as good as 2018 (which was anomalously high).
Sales not bad in a few categories:

·
For #corn, those sales total 1.365 million tonnes, equivalent to 53.7 million bushels. For #wheat, the total is 320,000 tonnes, equivalent to 11.8 million bushels.
·
1.365 mmt is #China's second-largest daily U.S. #corn purchase on record behind the 1.45 million tonnes on December 20, 1994.
