Ohio corn

Just got back from Ohio traveling up 77.  Whatever the amount corn conditions dropped this week, it wasn’t enough. Corn in the Cambridge/New Comerstown area isn’t even knee high with large areas of just dirt.  NE Ohio, the corn went from slight rolled, but still that vibrant green, to cigar rolled and a dull army fatigue green.  Lawns went from green, before I left, to burnt now.

Interstate 71 is further west and they grow more crops out that way.  It’s like the Ohio branch of Indiana.  Might be worth a motorcycle ride soon.

Hi Jim. We also have been extremely dry and hot. there have been spotty storms  and just south of us more than 3 inches has fallen in the last 3 days. There are some great fields of corn. There is a lot of average stuff that needs a lot of help. Iowa for th most part is great. S Dak and Minn for the most part is very good. Ill has places that are hurting. Kentucky as well.
