The Version 6.0 global average lower tropospheric temperature (LT) anomaly for July, 2020 was +0.44 deg. C, essentially unchanged from the June, 2020 value of +0.43 deg. C.

http://www.drroyspencer.com/wp-content/uploads/UAH_LT_1979_thru_July_2020_v6.jpgThe linear warming trend since January, 1979 remains at +0.14 C/decade (+0.12 C/decade over the global-averaged oceans, and +0.18 C/decade over global-averaged land).

metmike: Slow, mostly beneficial warming and entirely beneficial increasing CO2 continues on this greening planet during the current climate optimum that has featured the best weather/climate for life in the last 1,000 years(the last time that it was this warm, during the Medieval Warm Period/Climate Optimum).
