Biden has said that if elected

In the 1st 100 days of my administration no one will be deported

I assume he is referring to  border crossing

Can a president make such a declaration the law of the country, and enforce such a declaration. Could he  order ICE to stop all deportation activities

I thought congress wrote the laws

Could the GOP take this to the Supreme Court for a ruling  On what grounds would the GOP [if they so desired] have as their argument before the Supreme Court to stop a flood of immigration, that might continue past 100 days

Would this make Biden a dictator if he makes such decisions by his personal order or law?? as he has said he will do,  perhaps with out any consideration of congress

Just saying and doing what he wants seems mighty close to dictatorship, but you folks know your system of law better than I do

100 days?

How long will J Biden stay in office, before Kamala Harris takes over?

Her intentions are clear... abolish ICE, probably also the Border Patrol. Open (or even eliminate) the border.

You people seem to take it for granted either Biden or Harris can abolish ICE or what ever about immigration

I thought congress wrote the laws

How do you assume Biden/Harris can do what ever they please

If they can, back to what I posted

Is this not dictatorship if Biden/Harris can do what ever??    [immigration] ??

So why would Biden say he will do anything in 1st 100 days unless he is saying he will dictate

I don't understand your system of what a president can do and not dictate

Foreign policy, commander-in-chief, bully pulpit etc. I understand that part

I don't understand domestic policy and who decides, unless it is congress

There for:  it sounds to me as if Biden wants to be a dictator
