When Joe Biden is president.......we won't need to worry about trucks on the road or COVID.

He will bring everybody flying electric cars that use magic green fairy dust for fuel that fly over COVID trucks making wide turns (-:

Obviously President Trump is delusional about us rounding the turn with respect to new cases going into the Flu/COVID season and them soaring higher right now .....unless he was referring to a very, very long turn of numerous months to go.........which he wasn't.

However, what has actually rounded the turn is effective treatments and the death rate plunging.

People getting positives on their tests are only dying at a rate of 20% of the rate that positives were dying at in April and that number keeps dropping. 

New positives/day are making new highs but deaths/day are no where close to the numbers back in the Spring..........so we are actually rounding that turn.

A big reason that he is being overly positive here is to try to offset the negatively of being blamed for everything  COVID ahead of the election. 

He did a horrible job in the mask wearing example/advice for sure but each state is and has been responsible for its own rules, lockdowns, openings, mask wearing and so on.

Even if he wanted to(ok, he probably did want to)  he couldn't determine any of this for individual states. Governors and other state/local officials make all those decisions.

It's been mandatory here in Evansville IN to wear a mask EVERYWHERE, including at  many outdoor activities. Trump didn't make that decision.

Our republican mayor decided that. 

Our COVID cases are going thru the roof right now.
