Assuming Biden is the president, does anybody have a guess at how far he will go with higher taxes
1st of all: Will the pubs retain control of the senate and if so?? will they be able to stop tax increases. I don't know your system so I have to ask
Secondly, assuming tax hikes are possible, how far would tax hikes go. A carbon tax, a wealth tax, a capital gains tax not only when sales happen but on unrealized capital gains, retail tax on every day purchases, a vechicle tax on internal combustion engines, the list goes on
Given the people placed in various positions of influence, such as the Green deal, Paris Accord, student loans, alternate energy subsidies/grants for research,, the list goes on here as well
So where will this money come from. Biden campaigned on revenue neutral, especially for the green deal [I think] Unless his plan changes there has to be a massive influx of new money. No way will it be revenue neutral
Does anybody worry that our wealth will be taxed as this seems to be the social agenda and/or the world order
Most or all of us know socialism doesn't work but will that stop the country from socialism and eventual destruction
Does anybody think we have a hope of avoiding confiscation of our individual wealth either by taxes or loss of purchasing power

Tax hikes are coming. If the republicans lose the majority in the Senate, then more of them.
Carbon taxes with certainty as well as personal income taxes going up. Capital gains taxes go up.
The cultural revolution, with more and more socialism train has already left the station.
The Climate Accord is all about this. Biden is signing us back up and says that he will lead to way.
All to save the planet from being destroyed by humans because of CO2 emissions.
The same CO2 emissions that are massively greening up the planet and have helped warm it to within 2 deg. C of the optimal global temperature for most life but still far shy of the optimal CO2 level for most life.

If they can convince everybody that the current climate optimum for life is a climate crisis in order to completely overhaul the current economic and social models, then they can do almost anything.
