I doubt if there will be an investigation so long as enough in USA politics benefit from china influence or money

Reading the article, we see several methods were used to influence USA policy for China's benefit. And this is just one country wanting favourable policy decisions

The age old Honey Pot was used, bundling money for re-election is on every politician's list of "To Do things"  such as money for re-election, and then just rubbing shoulders in elite circles can always produce several candidates for future policy. The article listed a few methods but the actual methods are as many as there are people to influence, if we only knew the depth of influence exerted by foreign powers Have you noticed in the world of commerce or politics there are always more sellers than buyers. That is one reason it takes decades of work to build an operation that will find buyers. Try being an insurance sales person, used car sales person or politics. It takes time to build relationships

I doubt this lady was or will be the 1st or last person to infiltrate USA policy decision

The saying is "everybody has a price" The price may not be monetary, the person may not even know they have been bought, but just as a very small favor to me, can you support this bill. Almost all your friends support the bill, but we need just your help, is one example of not knowing you are bought or at least not willing to admit you have been bought.

Once you find that price then you have a powerful tool to use    re: policy that benefits your country

You start with newly elected or appointed people in all levels of gov't and as time goes by, some will be in a position to help your policy wishes

A great article you have posted that we all sort of knew about, but this puts some meat on the bone
