In the past, looting and rioting has pretty much been an activity of leftists in support of leftists causes. I have always been able to claim that such behavior is beneath those on the right. We're the adults in the room, so to speak.
That will never be true again.

I wouldn't call those insurrectionists "conservatives". Conservatives want to keep the status quo for the most part, whether it is good or bad. Those insurrectionists were radicals.
what sickens me is when a local contractor who was there reported back. He stated that large crowd stood elbow to elbow in the cold for hour upon hour without nothing more than please and thankyou and picking up each others trash. There was not a security person or fed dollar wasted, It had gone off with out hitch for the thousandth time since Trump has been elected. Suddenly the crowd started moving. Being that pressed together my friend was moving also. He heard they were moving toward the capital and wondered what would be different when they got there and looked for an opening. Do not know what happened or who started what or why there are videos of capitol police escorting some and directing some to the rotunda and well of senate but it was a great way to ruin it all in a few idiotic minutes
