Paul Harvey was a very gifted man!

Paul Harvey Aurandt (September 4, 1918 – February 28, 2009), better known as Paul Harvey, was an American radio broadcaster for ABC News Radio. He broadcast News and Comment on mornings and mid-days on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays and also his famous The Rest of the Story segments. From 1952 to 2008, his programs reached as many as 24 million people per week. Paul Harvey News was carried on 1,200 radio stations, on 400 American Forces Network stations, and in 300 newspapers.

Worked with a  guy for a while.  He lives fairly close by.   His last name is Walton.  Turns out his great great great something was George Walton,  one of the signers of the Declaration of independence.

America was the most successful experiement in self government in the history of mankind,  nothing else came close..  We became the envy of the world. And it was because of great men like these.  

Too bad school kids today are taught that they were terrible men..  Slave owners,  adulterers,  rich oppresive white men!!

But ya know,  when you have no pride in your past,  you don't care much for the present.  Almost seems like some sort of a plot,  Huh?

Wouldnt it be great if that video was required to view early on during an US history class for our kids.

Truly some real history I became partially aware of only in mid life.

I mean there is nothing but history in that commentary.

And youngsters might also be made woke of what good reporting/journalism/commentary looks like!

Ahh,  biut there is a concerted effort to do the exact opposite.   Efforts like the 1619 Project for example.   One of Biden's Executive Orders disbanded a group authorized by Trump to present info exactly like this video and paint our history in a more favorable light...

But I'm sure it's not some sort of sinister plot to demoralize our youth.  It just really really looks like one.
