Mainstream media ignores lewd Hunter Biden N-word texts to his lawyer

metmike: Not sure about how big of a deal this is.....However, can you imagine if somebody with the last name of Trump communicated like this? It would be headline news on very MSM outlet.

Maybe its a big deal just because it lines up with the long history of the MSM covering for the BIden's(especially Hunter), even censoring breaking, legit headline bads news about them last year to protect them before the election:

Whats even worse is the FBI has swept all of this under the rug.

I'm of the opinion that  the contents of Hunter's lap top suported by collaborating testimony by former associates is far more damning than  all the evidence ever collected/manufactured against Trump, and yet, the FBI is just sitting on it.

If, as it appears,  assorted federal agencies, with all the power and resources they have, have been reduced to wings of the democrat party,  the future of this country looks quite dim.

as many of us have been posting for months who are they covering for? Hunter is not worth the effort.

I think that's pretty obvious.    Were his dad to have an "R" suffix,   this would probably be elevated to one of the largest scandals this country has even seen.

although MM keeps on the cognitive bias stuff I do  not care a wit about what party I was a member. If I was running the FBI and found my organization was keeping this crap from the American people, especially during a national election, there would be hundreds of heads roll and hundred of prosecutions and hundreds of former FBI agents in the unemployment line.

That's how it would have worked a few years ago.    Not exactly sure when it all changed,    but if I had to guess, I would say during the Obama era. He certainly weaponized the IRS.   Comey became director of the FBI in 2013, and we later learned that he was devoid of ethics.

Any apolitical/non partisan person looking at all the objective facts(in this age of political affiliation defining what most people think), can come to no other conclusion Tim.

The corrupt Mueller investigation spent 2.5 years/25 million dollars using high level government investigating and prosecuting resources to find almost nothing on Trump.

With Hunter, all they need to do is open up the dang laptop that HE GIFTED THEM from his totally out of control behavior.

The laptop has 100+ times more documented damning evidence on the owner/Hunter than everything combined from the Mueller investigation had on Trump after not leaving any unturned stones for 2.5 years.

So its not even close.

The astronomical disparity/difference in treatment based on party affiliation(with Trump being in a league of his own, which would not have resulted in Bush or other R's the same treatment)

..........is 100% proof that they are EXTREMELY/UNBELIEVABLY  prejudiced.

One can speculate why this is.

We know that democrats are, by definition desiring of more government control in every way shape and form, including government employees.

We know that republicans are anti government......less government intervention. Less government employees........etc.

It's probably no coincidence that government agencies and employees, exactly like the ones in this discussion would have a strong preference for and  have more job security and more power with the party that has the ideology that gives it to them.

Unelected bureaucrats are running our lives

You didn’t give these clowns power. They just grabbed it.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2017/06/12/unelected-bureaucrats-running-our-lives-glenn-reynolds-column/102750080/

Watching the ongoing clown show in Washington, Americans can be forgiven for asking themselves, “Why did we give this bunch of clowns so very much power over our nation and our lives?”

Well, don’t feel so bad, voters. Because you didn’t actually give them that much power. They just took it. That’s the thesis of Columbia Law Professor Philip Hamburger’s new book, The Administrative Threat, a short, punchy followup to his magisterial Is Administrative Law Unlawful? Both deal with the extraordinary — and illegitimate — power that administrative agencies have assumed in American life.

Hamburger explains that the prerogative powers once exercised by English kings, until they were circumscribed after a resulting civil war, have now been reinvented and lodged in administrative agencies, even though the United States Constitution was drafted specifically to prevent just such abuses. But today, the laws that actually affect people and businesses are seldom written by Congress; instead they are created by administrative agencies through a process of “informal rulemaking,” a process whose chief virtue is that it’s easy for the rulers to engage in, and hard for the ruled to observe or influence. Non-judicial administrative courts decide cases, and impose penalties, without a jury or an actual judge. And the protections in the Constitution and Bill of Rights (like the requirement for a judge-issued search warrant before a search) are often inapplicable.

In the early days of the Republic, the franchise was limited. But as the mass of voters became larger, more diverse, and less elite, those who considered themselves the best and brightest looked to transform government into something run not by those deplorable unwashed voters but by a more congenial group. As Hamburger says, “They have gradually moved legislative power out of Congress and into administrative agencies — to be exercised, in more genteel ways, by persons like … themselves.”

It has been, in essence, a power grab by what Hamburger calls the “knowledge class,” or what others have called the New Class: A group of managers and intellectuals who, although they may not actually be especially knowledgeable or elite in practice, regard themselves as a knowledge elite.

Hamburger sees the expansion of administrative agency power, and the decline in importance of federal legislative and judicial power, as a major threat to the nation, and as our premier civil liberties issue. Administrative agencies, effectively unaccountable to voters, to Congress, and even, it seems to the Executive, are in charge of most of the business of governing America, and they pursue their own priorities to a much greater extent than they recognize anyone else’s.

Will Hamburger’s warning cry find receptive ears?  His book is being talked about in many quarters, but it will require more than talk to make a difference. It will require substantial political change.

metmike: I contend that the democrats preserve and reinforce the above(the swamp/elites of unelected beaurocrats having almost limitless control). Trump and his "drain the swamp" objective..........was the biggest threat to their existence.

So sad that Trump turned out to be so corrupt himself and more damaging to our country than the ones that he was fighting.

Glad you made this point Tim.

After more analysis and thought, this seems to be the only thing to explain it completely.

Personally, I think some people get too bent out of shape in allowing one word to do so much harm.

However, it's well known by everybody in society, that it causes this harm to those people and others that use it flagrantly are being disrespectful and in some situations(not this one) extremely disrespectful.

In this case, I just think that Hunter is a very confused man with numerous serious problems.

Without his Daddy's protection, this is what his life might be like:

1. He would be in prison for his long history of breaking laws of many kinds.

2. If he were not fully enabled and protected, he would have been held accountable for breaking laws

and completely sheeting/abandoning people, including his wife, mistress and child out of wedlock. ............and he would have learned lessons that taught him to stop acting this way. Instead, he's allowed to continue this behavior WITH IMPUNITY. This reinforces it and instead of him learning an important lesson to stop doing it, the lesson is that he will always be protected.........so there is not enough motivation to stop a life long behavior/addiction problem that is almost impossible for somebody his age to stop.

No question that Daddy and Daddy's powerful people and their professional counselors have had tons of discussions and help sessions with him to try to get him back on track.

And I have no doubt that Joe loves him as much as any dad would their son and is only protecting him because of that.

But this is called ENABLING.

Hunter knows dang well that the MSM is totally protecting him. Maybe we can't blame Joe for loving his son but we can sure blame everybody else..........who's job it is to investigate and report this as objective journalists and objective DOJ people dedicated to upholding the laws, applying them using fairness/justice.

Media overwhelmingly silent on Hunter Biden's N-word text message scandal

https://news.yahoo.com/media-overwhelmingly-silent-hunter-bidens-170400635.html

The New York Times, the Washington Post,CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC,and MSNBC have all stayed silent on the matter, according to searches of their respective websites.

Hunter Biden ‘100% certain’ he’ll be cleared of wrongdoing in DOJ investigation

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/hunter-biden-doj-investigation-finances-interview

metmike: I completely believe Hunter about this. Not because he committed no crimes but because he's just following what Daddy's people told him.

After the election, when he came out with the press release, Hunter telling everybody that he was being investigated and what the trivial nature of the investigation is....... BEFORE it was news,  smacked clearly of a contrived plan to get control, with a false narrative BEFORE it hit the news that with 100% certainly could never have been thought up by the out of control Hunter who can't even manage basic things in his own life, let alone come up with a brilliant scheme to get ahead of the story to control it.

Biden's people, who knew the facts came up with the plan and instructed Hunter on what to do for damage control.

Absolute certain on this.
