S. Africa

Widespread rioting broke out in S. Africa, following the arrest of ex-president Zuma. Large scale looting…. Countless buildings set on fire….. even police officers were filmed looting.   70+ people dead.

In some neighborhoods, residents have formed armed militias to defend their homes.  Food stores have been looted empty. Possible shortage of food coming.

**************

Cuba

Widespread political protests against the government. 1 person killed.

Many are trying to flee Cuba for the USA. Biden admin. says they will turn away refugees. (strange… people from Central America are welcome, but not people from Cuba???)

***************

France

French citizens rioted in response to plans by President Macron to mandate vaccine passports to enter shopping malls, restaurants, hospitals. etc

**************

England

The ruckus following England’s soccer team failing to capture the Euro Cup has come to an end.

**************

Portland

What??? No riots today? Oh, it’s early

As far as Cuba,   the US, or more specifically, the Democrats, have a long history  of rejecting refugees  who have demonstrated a dislike of leftism.  Cuban refugees generally hate communism and are extremely unlikely to vote for anything leaning left.

Jerry (Moonbeam) Brown felt the same about Vietnamese refugees, who were fleeing an oppressive communist regime (Is there any other kind?)

But,  if you are likely to vote for leftist schemes, the door is wide open.   I'm sure it's just a coincidence.
