There is a new boss in town. Taliban tells Biden what to do…. or else

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9918639/Taliban-hits-Biden-warns-August-31-provoke-reaction.html

In the meantime, there are an unknown number of US citizens stuck in Afghanistan, prevented by the Taliban from getting to the airport.   Will they be taken hostage, or will they be killed?

There are also large numbers of citizens from NATO countries in the same situation. These countries are not very happy with Biden’s handling of the withdrawal.

Even CNN talks about it

Kamala Harris insists the US is a 'global leader' that takes 'that role seriously' as she tries to assert America's dependability despite global condemnation for handling of Afghanistan crisis

in the meantime, some special units of the Taliban are now armed with the most modern equipment, US vehicles, US uniforms, US weapons.  One cannot distinguish them from US troops… other than their beards.  They could easily conduct a “false flag” operation.

I have never heard of any military force leaving behind all this equipment, while withdrawing from someplace.

In the meantime, the first of the 65,000 refugees have arrived in the US.  Good for them.

As usual, the images always focus on cute kids. What is rarely mentioned is the fact that the Taliban freed 5,000 hard-core Taliban/AlQaeda prisoners, while marching towards Kabul.  Are some of them among these refugees? Did anyone check?

Thanks Gunter!

Everything you said is very true. Great post!

I've been for withdrawing from Afghanistan for 15 years and initially supported Biden and still support THE DECISION to get out.

However, if somebody wanted to intentionally maximize the embarrassment and credibility damage to the US, this would be the way to exit.

Some of these decisions just make no sense and make me continue to speculate that the true objective, is something they don't want us to know.

Maximize the amount of immigrants the US can get out of it.

All their decisions point exactly in that direction and it totally fits with this administrations agenda. We know this as an irrefutable fact based on them intentionally letting in hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants on the southern border.

Explosion hits outside Kabul airport after terror attack warnings as thousands rush to evacuate

“We can confirm that the explosion near the Abbey Gate of the Kabul airport has resulted in an unknown number of casualties,” Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said on Twitter.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/high-threat-terror-attack-disrupts-kabul-airport-evacuations-biden-deadline-n1277670

While it was immediately unclear who or what was behind the explosion, two U.S. intelligence officials said the assumption is that the suspected IED attack was caused by the Islamic State group's Afghan affiliate, ISIS-K.

The explosion came hours after the United States and its allies warned about a potential terror attack as thousands crowded the airport in a desperate effort to flee in the wake of the Taliban's takeover.

Western countries had urged people to avoid travelingto the Afghan capital's airport as fears about the ISIS threat posed the latest setback for the massive airlift.

Some countries said they would have to suspend evacuations due to the security situation.

In an alert issued after the blast on Thursday, the U.S. Embassy in Kabul again urged Americans not to travel to the area.

"There has been a large explosion at the airport, and there are reports of gunfire. U.S. citizens should avoid traveling to the airport and avoid airport gates at this time," it said.

Kabul airport has been a flashpoint for chaotic scenes and security fears since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan's capital Aug.15.

Over the weekend, U.S. defense officials warned about specific threats from ISIS against those trying to leave Afghanistan."

Explosions Rock Kabul, Causing Multiple Casualties

The bombs resulted in “a number of U.S. and civilian casualties,” Kirby said on Twitter.

A Taliban official told Reuters that the initial explosion came from a suspected suicide bomb and left at least 13 dead, including children.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said the bombs killed at least 13 people. Fifteen others were wounded, the ministry said.

The United Kingdom’s defense ministry said it was “working urgently to establish what has happened in Kabul and its impact on the ongoing evacuation effort.”

“Our primary concern remains the safety of our personnel, British citizens, and the citizens of Afghanistan. We are in close contact with our U.S. and other NATO allies at an operational level on the immediate response to this incident,” it added.

Afghan media outlet TOLO News published photographs of injured, bloody people in Kabul being taken to a nearby hospital on makeshift stretchers.
