It's very saddening to read a story like that from such a colossal blunder.

Over the past 20 years, I wonder how many(large number) similar type events happened that we never heard about.

let me shock you MM. Had this happened anytime the last 50 years and an R been in office there would of been weeks of front page reporting, hell maybe even an impeachment.

civilian deaths in the Iraq War... 200,000+

It was a big blunder to kill that aid worker and the 7 kids in Kabul... but the much bigger blunder was the Iraq War... it involved a whole country.... and it was totally based on false pretenses.

Earlier, when S. Hussein had attacked and invaded Kuwait, the USA and a large team of collation forces immediately came to Kuwait’s rescue

When the US attacked Iraq under false pretenses, nobody came to their rescue. I would assume that not many people in Iraq love the US, or any of our allies

there was a time when they had their first free and fair elections and million of Iraqis risk life and limb to dip their finger purple and vote....thanks to Brave Americans who died for them to be free from that evil tyrant and his sons. sadam and sons. I would say at that time the Iraqi people needed another shove to freedom but it all fell apart. The Iraqis hid behind women and children while the Americans tried to limit civilian casualties. You can say false pretenses all day but the valiant effort was made for others and surely most Iragis recognize that if they were allowed to speak and think

‘Unbelievably senseless’: Lawmakers blast Biden over kid-killing Kabul drone strike

Republican lawmakers slammed the Biden administration Friday after the US military admitted it botched a drone strike amid the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan resulting in the deaths of 10 civilians near Kabul’s airport on Aug. 29 — instead of its intended target, Islamic State militants.

Republican critics argued that the deaths are a symptom of President Biden’s turbulent withdrawal of troops from the country, which led to the rapid fall of the Afghan government and the swift rise of the Taliban.

Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez@RepCarlos

Biden, 8/31: “This is the way the mission was designed.”  Americans are stuck in Afghanistan. Civilians, including children, were killed in the air strike that missed its intended target.  This is how the mission was designed?

@LucasFoxNewsBREAKING: Gen. McKenzie, head of U.S. Central Command, to announce no ISIS-K fighters killed in U.S. drone strike in Kabul Aug 29. 10 civilians killed, including 7 children in Toyota. No disciplinary action expected, officials say. US military stands by intel leading to strike.
