Angela Merkel is retiring as Chancellor of Germany. The article below focuses on her [not so great] “legacy”. Her most damaging act was encouraging mass migration from trouble spots in the ME and Africa into Europe.
Of course, she did so for humanitarian reasons….most countries in the EU are well off and could afford to lend a helping hand. And it was assumed that these migrants would integrate and adjust to European civilization.
However, this turned out to be wrong (in most cases). Several large cities in Europe now have “no-go” zones, where the police is attacked when dare to enter. Most immigrants prefer to live in their own neighborhood, where they practice the same culture they just “escaped” from, rather than adopting the culture of their host country. This has quite negatively affected many areas in Europe
I remember reading about an investigative journalist in Sweden, who went to the police to investigate open rape cases. As it turned out, out of 34 cases, 33 of the rapes were committed by immigrants.
The article below states that the year 2015 was the year with the most refugees applying for asylum…1.3 million. After that the steady stream of refugees continued, but at a somewhat slower pace.
Please, think about these numbers…. The EU has a population of 446 million…. and 1.3 million immigrants in one year!
And now let’s take a look at the USA….
Currently the BP is arresting 200,000 illegal aliens per month. These migrants are then given a paper that tells them where to show up in immigration court, 60 days later, and then they are released into the US..Of course, most of them never show up
In addition to those 200,000 apprehended, an additional 400,000 are estimated to enter the US illegally without being detected.
This adds up to 7.2 million illegal aliens per year (more than 5 times that of the EU’s worst year)… and the US, with a population of 333 mill, is smaller than the EU!
Thanks Gunter,
Her energy policies have messed up Germany pretty bad too.

The country is moving beyond nuclear power. But at what cost?

As Berlin steps up its switch to renewable energy, consumers of electricity — i.e., German taxpayers — are footing the bill. The problem is grid infrastructure that can't keep pace with the new sources coming online.
