John Deere is on strike
Wal Mart can't find truck drivers, ware house employees, people to stock shelves
How much would it take to get america back to work
In Canada a friend of mine makes 30/hr and said if he did not have a paid for house, 30/hr would not pay for essentials. His diesel truck has 300,000 plus miles 30/hr =24/hr USD
John Deere just reported record profits and project record profits. Do you think the people who make the machinery deserve a slice of the pie
Do you think the truck drivers deserve a bigger slice of the pie to encourage new truck drivers
Oil goes up to 85/barrel and people just shrug and complain, but buy their gas. You can bet WTI oil will go to 100 plus. Will you stop buying pump gas. What happens if the supply is damaged by accident [fire???]
How many will get in line for reduced supply and higher prices
Coal goes up for india and china but they both buy the coal
If truck drivers made 50/hr and ham burg flippers made 20/hr what would you think about that??
Obviously Wal Mart does not care about empty shelves or they would pay more. I don't know about your country but in Canada Wal Mart has their own trucks
No easy answer. That's going to vary widely in the US per COL. NYC needs a much higher min than AL.
