Export inspections of U.S. #soybeans topped expectations last week and included nearly 1.4 million tonnes to #China. MY to date soy inspections are 23% below last year but the gap keeps narrowing. #Corn and #wheat inspections were moderate to low last week.

USDA reports U.S. October soybean crush at 5.91 million tons (197 mln bu), above all trade estimates and the average of 5.868M (195.6 mbu). That slightly tops October 2020 at 5.90 million tons, which Reuters reports is the all-time record for any month.

U.S. #ethanol output cooled last week to a seven-week low of 1.035M bpd. Stocks edged up to a 12-week high of 20.3M barrels. Inventory has been hanging around the 20M level for almost three months but production has fluctuated much more during that period.
