Export inspections in line with expectations last week, #soybeans toward the high end.

 206kt #corn and 728kt beans were inspected for #China. YOY percentages haven't moved much in recent weeks.

Terrible old-crop #wheat sales last week, but respectable #corn and #soybeans (even w/ small net negative soy sales to #China). China bought 660kt new crop beans. Soybean meal sales were a MY year high led by Colombia and Philippines.

USDA confirms the cancellation of 380,000 tonnes of U.S. #corn to #China for the 2021/22 marketing year.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

More deets on last year's #corn cxls (all in 2021 for 2020/21): Feb. 10: -132kt unknown May 5: -140kt #China May 10: -280kt China So, it's possible all 552kt were to China. U.S. shipping pace  has averaged ~300kt/wk in last 4 weeks. Not huge, but steady.

Some context on Thursday's U.S. #corn cancellations from #China....  380kt is the largest daily cxl of corn (by anyone) I can find in 7+ years of data. 2020/21: 3 separate daily cxls of corn (1 in Feb, 2 in May) totaled 552kt (420kt to China were the 2 in May).
