we may think the start of a war will drive gold higher.  but remember, the seasonal average for gold is to correct from late february, until mid march.  

another thought.  i was thinking that maybe platinum would be better than gold.  but... buying platinum or palladium might just help russia's finances,  since they are a major supplier of this material worldwide.  

so maybe i will take that money and give it to the local ukranian church, and tell them to send it, to help support their relatives back home.
